WT519 - romantic elements of Buttons and Lace on our cards. You do not need to make a romantic card, but you must use Buttons and Lace, faux or real, stamped or as part of your DP, or even die cut.
The beautiful lace is from SCS friend Jan (heartsong47). A Million Thanks Jan, it is so beautiful!!! The flower girl was colored in copics. I had printed 2 of her and colored 2 of her for one of the color challenges and decided to use the second on this card. The flowers were cut out of white paper, shaped, colored and stickles added. There are 2 DPs one on the left one on the right and they are sewn on the navy paper. The ribbon is 2 colors and a lacy ribbon all tied together and then a button mounted on top.
The reason for the three is because roses are a bit tougher to shape and glue as they are very small. These little blue roses were so fun to make until I decided to use the glue gun on my fingers. Ouch but they turned out exactly as I had hoped so it was all worth it in the end.
Thanks for looking! I look forward to seeing your buttons and lace cards.

Lovely card, Lisa, with that sweet image which you have colored so beautifully. The lace you used is gorgeous and the bit of sparkle is a pretty addition. Well thought out composition.
This is just so pretty! I love the soft blue with the clean white lace. Your flowers are spectacular and so is your bow! As far as the lovely young lady goes ..... well, I just wish I could look that pretty! Great card!

Your flower girl is colored WONDERFULLY in one of my favorite all time colors. Someone once told me to always keep a bowl of ice water when using a glue gun...but I have a great burn remedy found on line when I was suffering one nightfrom a bad burn on my finger. Aluminum foil! No kidding! Dull side down for about ten minutes, Takes ALL the pain away like magic. But back to your card. GREAT roses Lisa...and your lace is gorgeous! AND OH MY...that button ROCKS! Great job....
