I'm trying to stick to my goal of making one card a week that uses dp and ribbon in order to use up some of stash. This one uses dp for the background and a bunch of scraps of green dp for the pine branches. Instead of ribbon, I used metallic cord (of which I have lots!).
It's for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown sketch challenge. The sketch has an embellishment on the lower edge of the focal image - I moved that to the top, in the form of my metallic cord to hang the wreath. And used the same way of attaching the cord to the sentiment label as I did to the wreath.
And I'm adding it to the Winter Wonderland challenge to keep it simple with minimal layers and some open space.

So pretty Susan! Love the dimension and sparkle of your wreath ... perfect on top of your patterned paper. Good for you to have a goal to use up some papers and ribbons. I should be doing that too!

This is BEAUTIFUL, Susan. Love your lush pine wreath hung with the red metallic cording. Pretty bg DP too. I can imagine your hand is sore from punching all those pine boughs. : ) One Christmas I used the same MS punch...punched it to its literal death and my hand hurt for days. Hope you are tougher than me!

wow punching all those branches must have taken for ever. I's so pretty with the sparkly green and red. I love the red cord on the tag, great way to accent the sentiment.

I like how you've used the cording in the same manner on both the wreath and the sentiment tag. And all the punching... WOW. Terrific job! Thanks for sharing your card with us at 52CCT.
