This was my first foray into making rolled roses from felt. The little swirls you see are the cut out part of the die, which makes for a nice embellishment. Since it is difficult to get the felt into the quilling tool, I used my jewelers tweezers. Once the flower is started, you can remove the tweezers and finish by hand.
This birthday card went to a dear friend at my LSS.

STUNNING card Jennifer! Your rolled felt flowers are just gorgeous. Your added pearls are the perfect embellishment and the colors on this are just beautiful. Your friend will LOVE this! Genius idea to use the left over parts for the swirly flourishes.

GORGEOUS b'day card with your felt blue roses. Each one is so perfect and the finishing pearl is lovely. Beautiful, lacy framing, again with larger pearl accents.

You're so clever using the little off-cut from felt as an embellishment - very creatively done, the soft blue is so pretty and it's beautifully framed!
