Since I picked up my tatting needle last week I have been unable to put it down. But this time I used a shuttle to tat some small simple flowers and leaves. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this little hobby..but my arthritic fingers haven't! LOL In keeping with my New Years Resolution (something old..something new) I have used some older folders Darice (dots) and SU (lace). The die-cut frame is from spellbinder (very old) and the border die-cut is from Memory Box (fairly new). While digging into my tatting thread I also found some silk embroidery ribbon that was just the right size for a bow. All I had to do was use my green ink to draw a few stems..piece of cake! LOL. The bouquet is popped up on dots.

Oh My Goodness, Sue! Not only beautiful, but delightful!! And oh the sweet memories of my Grandmother you have brought back with this beauty! I am in awe. Grandma tried to teach me to tat with a shuttle, but I just couldn't get it. Now I wish I had tried just a little harder. At least I have the beautiful lace things she made just for me.
A real delight!
I love your creativity with the addition of the tatted flowers. I recently took up needle tatting with the hope of being able to tat some embellishments. Your card is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it.

Oh my, look at those sweet flowers! Tatting is a craft I never learned; this card is truly special! All of the beautiful, embossed white layers set off by the deep purple are gorgeous.

Love all the embossing and punching that make the white paper add elegance to this sweet card.
