This card covers two challenges today. I thought of Love you to the moon right away when I saw Fridays challenge and I had this foil idea in my mind for a couple of days but hadn't had time to play. So I decided to combine the two. I scrunched a peice of foil and then straightened it back out. then I colored it with blendabilities to look like the galaxy or outer space. The moon is a piece of vellum colored on the back with daffodil delight blendabilities. I was going to use a piece of acetate as my cover panel and the card would have been very bright and reflective. I tried a piece of vellum over the foil panel and liked that look much better. It toned down the brightness of the foil, but let the colors show through. So I stamped my little space ship and sentiment on the vellum and cut the card front into a frame for the panel which was on white CS. I added a second white panel to the inside where I stamped the moon with the little rocket trail around it. Lots of fun!

Oh my this is so brilliant. I love the foil and the colors you were able to get on it. I tried once to color foil and could not get it come out even close. Super cute space ship on this too.

The combination of the coloured foil and vellum is great. The vellum must certainly have made it easier to photograph - plus giving you a great surface for stamping the spaceship on.
