Here is a trick you might want to try; ink a stamp and then mist it well with water. Then stamp it onto paper that is NOT watercolor (the cheaper the better). Paper that is not designed to spread and absorb the water will "pucker". In some cases this is good! It provides unexpected texture! I wish I could photograph it so you could see. I added some golden stickles to the center of some of the wheat to add another layer of texture.....what fun!

One of my favourite types of image is of wheat or grasses. This is superb! I love the natural colours you have used. The golden glitter just precedes the harvest to come. :-) The simple white framing really lets your scene shine. Lovely!
