One of my goals this year is to have some dp and some ribbon on a card (or cards) each week so that I can use up some of my stash.
So this week's Merry Monday challenge to have a bow on your card was perfect for my goal of using ribbon. And I pulled some scraps out of my dp scrap box to trim the two edges.
This month's Happy Little Stampers' challenge is "embossing" - any type of embossing so this time I did dry embossing on the card base with a flowery ef that sort of looks like poinsettias to go with the strips of dp.
Here are the two challenges in case you want to join in:

What a beautiful ornament, Susan! And the bow on top finished it off perfectly! I need to make a goal to use more paper or else I need to give it away. Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday!
You are an inspiration, Susan, with your goal to use your DP and your ribbon! There are so many of us with an over-abundance of stash. I love your design for this pretty fold card with lots of awesome embossing!! Hugs, Darnell

So pretty Susan. I love the strips of pretty DP on the sides and the fold of this beautiful and elegant card. The glittery red design on the ornament is gorgeous and it looks amazing against the white embossed background. Thanks so much for playing along at Happy Little Stampers! xx
