My son had to go into work at 5am, and I always like to see them in the morning, so I had some early morning craft time. I wanted to do another card using beads for the WT516, and to make a tiny image for the F4A437. I was making a card 2 weeks ago and needed to stencil modeling paste onto a bkg that had taken too long to ruin at the last minute. I tested the modeling paste and stencil on the newspaper that I was working on. I liked the newspaper test sheet and saved it. I cut a little 2.5 inch square, stamped the image in black, stamped the image with veras fine and embossed, and sponged over everything with distress tea dye enk. I had these tiny little seed beads from a former life when I used to make an occasional necklace- I probably could actually see them back then - and I glued them to the bkg. I doodled a little border on the little image panel to finish it off. Such a quick and easy card that looks harder than it was. TFL, Francie

I LOVE the effect of the modelling paste on the paper, Francie, I'm definitely going to try this. The neutral colours look wonderful too, they glow with warmth.

What a wonderful card, Francie! The first thing that caught my eye was how different it is! Love the newspaper and the neutral colors. What a gorgeous stencil too! I love that you sponged over everything with the tea distress inks. This is fantastic!

Oh my goodness Francie this is my favorite kind of card where you use up something that is on your table that was a scrap but turns out to be so beautiful. So stunning. Thank you for doing another card for my first challenge. Hugs!
