I'm taking the Clean And Simple 4 class from Online Card Classes, and the emphasis the first day was heat embossing. This technique uses dies, masking paper, inchies (I used plain mat board), ink and embossing powder to create faux tiles. I made such a mess with the ink that I used Spectrum Noir markers instead
This is a terrific class, and it's not too late to join us!
As always, thanks for looking!

Jody, this really LOOKS just like a real tile - and colorful too - love that burst of color coming off the back layer of the lacey square. The polka dots even shoe up in the word die - looks amazing!!

YOU just made me reconsider that class! It really does look like a ceramic tile! Love the greeting cut from the same paper as the mat, Jody! Beautifully done!

Oh goodness this is fantastic. Do you have the link to the class you could send me? I would love to try if I can squeeze in the time. Alas that is my trouble, having the time. Outstanding job on this one.
