At MFP Inspiration challenge, Shirley has chosen three fun zentangle photos to inspire us this week. We don't have to tangle if we would rather not so for this card I chose not to tangle but this loopy petal image reminds me of the second photo she selected and my coloring is in red as in the photo. I used the wrinkle free distress method and then went over the image with colored pencils to add some highlights.
I love the way tessaduck adds faux layers and dimension with die embossing so I gave it a try with a simple layout.

Holy Smokes, Angie, will you just look at this! OMGosh, it's a gorgeous card. No need to zentangle when you have the next best thing. I wish I could figure out how to the faux embossing with dies. I need to check out your blog to see if you did a step-by-step tutorial for dummies like myself Beautiful, just beautiful.

Oh Angie, this is so beautiful and the added highlights add so much more dimension to this beautiful flower. Great job on the wrinkle free distress on this image it works so wonderfully. I agree, tessaducks added faux layers does do wonders to cards and it really adds perfectly on this one.
