It's time for our next "The Challenge" at Lesley's blog: Always Playing with Paper. You can choose either the sketch or the colors or both. This time I chose the colors: teal, yellow, red and white. Check out what the other DT have come up with and join in on the challenge! (Challenge goes live at 7:00 am CST on Monday) http://alwaysplayingwithpaper.blogspot.com
I used my heart embossing folder for the bottom section and punched some glitter hearts using my SU! heart punch from several years ago. Cut a very thin strip of glitter cs to lay between the ef section and the top third of the card. Popped up the main panel that I die cut with my brand new SB Card Creator Dies - A2 Matting Basics B. I had heard about these from a couple people on this site (thank you!) and finally bit the bullet because I was tired of uneven cuts on my cs! Easy peasy card!! Could work for an anniversary or even a wedding- using the wedding colors for the hearts.
Linking also to our CAS308 challenge which is to somehow reflect a NY goal. Mine is to use more of the stuff I already have, and to make some simpler cards that don't take forever to make. This card fits both criteria - I have had most of these materials for a long time (except the cutting die), and it was super quick (comparatively - for me, anyways!). Linking also to:

What a pretty valentine with all the different sizes and colors of hearts. I got the Card Creator for Christmas and love it. It sure helps with the straight edges.
