Today Sabrina gave us a great WTUI challenge - speaking foreign. We were to use no English. Friends of my son went to Italy on their honeymoon, and they are coming up on their first anniversary. So I decided to use an image of the Colosseum, and just the word Ciao on the front and Happy anniversary on inside. My son can write whatever message he would like, to make it personal.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a closer look. I really do appreciate it :-)

That jute ribbon is great! It really picks up on the design of the Colosseum with its arches. What a great card for the challenge, and one that will be meaningful to the recipients, too.

What a clever idea to use this image and the ciao for this anniversary card! I love the choice of bg paper..it looks like a marble which would be in line for many of the museums, etc found in Italy.

That is a fantastic jute ribbon you have added to your card. Great job on the watercoloring and I love the DP BG. It nearly looks like a sky to me and sets the image off very nicely. I am sure they friends will love receiving this beautiful card.

Your card will be a lovely memento of their trip to Rome and will be a keepsake for sure., Barb. Love the watercolored look of your image and how the bg DP blends seamlessly into tit.
