The mittens are cut from fleece with the large mitten die from Impression Obsession. Sewn around the edge and half filled with white rice. The tag is 3 x 5 1/2 and embossed with a very old cuttlebug folder. I also used another very old gingerbread man die from Quickutz and embellished with a white gel pen and glitter. The holly is a regular leaf punch with little bites taken with a small hole punch. My New Year's Resolution is to use 'something old and something new' on each project. The old is the folder and die and the something new is the fleece and the ribbon. When you are going for a walk and it is a little nippy (-21 C to-day) just heat the mittens in the microwave for 30 seconds ..then just slip them in your pockets.

You definitely need those warmers outside there today!! Brrrr Reminds me of when I was in Canada at Christmas - I kept on loosing my mittens - friends finally attached a string through them - just like you do for kids - he he he. I could have done with these cute little warmers then. So very cute and practical.
