Made 2 versions of this simple, but decidedly feminine birthday card. Only difference is the bling added to the one.
For each card:
Used 1 3/8" punch to punch 2 gold and 2 white squares. Used Gold painty pen to cover white edges of all 4 squares.
Used 1 1/4" punch to punch 1 square from DSP scrap.
Cut out 2 bows using Memory Box die and Gold c/s.
Created package by layering:
2 white squares
1st gold square
1st gold bow (just the bow part so as to not have a ridge in the middle of my package
2nd gold square
DSP square
2nd gold bow
Adhere to card front; stamp sentiment.
Easy peasy -- took me longer to describe it than to make it!
Helpful hints:
The vertical "ribbon was longer than my package, but cutting it to fit gave a bit of an abrupt edge, so I wrapped it around the back of my package and adhered it. Now it has a more "tied' look to it that I like.
I did not try to adhere the loops of the bows to one another -- this way it looks more like there are additional loops on the bow.
