Audrey gave us a wonderful site with all the beautiful stamps from stampscapes. This is what I used for my inspiration....http://www.stampscapes.com/framegal.html
I don't have any of these, but they sure make beautiful cards. I tried something totally out of my comfort zone. After looking at Robin"s , Angie"s, Sabrina"s backgrounds they create, I gave it a try. This is what I saw from my window this morning. It is cold, but the sky was beautiful. Using the technique with ink pads and spritzing, did the background. Added the inked images. Then with my finger took acrylic paint to make the snow drifts. They are covered with a fine coating of topsoil from all the wind..hence that's why the shading is done in the brown.Added just a little glitter. This was fun, and yes I need to practice. tfl

Favourited - Linda, this is amazing. I love that you used print for your base layer. And the sky -I wish I could see that in real life. I'll pass on the snowdrifts and just enjoy them on your card.

You need practice?! Not in my world, you don't - this is extraordinary! I love the "torn away" look as if beneath the script you are uncovering this beautiful scene. Into my faves.

This turned out GORGEOUS Linda!!! It doesn't look like you need much practice to me. The technique you used really turned out well. This scene looks terrific on the printed paper too. I think this super cold weather has produced some sights really nice to look at. Thanks for sharing!! :>)

Linda this is wonderful...love your technique and unique take on the Stampscapes inspiration. The glitter accents are perfect and this totally looks like a winter scene right outside your window (and mine, too). AWESOME!!!
