This card is for Joyce - Her younger sister passed away unexpectedly and she is just beyond heartbroken - her sister was her very best friend .
The tea potters are rallying around Joyce - she
loves Splitcoast and has done so much for the community! She's a lead swap moderator, loves ATCs and has done millions of ATC swaps and quite a bit of Mixed Media, and right now, she needs us.
My card shows two sisters, best friends, as the image, with the BG being done with my gelli plate and acrylic white, dotted with Adirondack inks, then spread, then added a stencil on top and removed it to get a little of the pattern. The dots are SU Old Olive ink, sponged through circles of an acrylic sheet in various sizes and depths of color - I tried to follow the tutorial on SCS as best as I could. The image is what I think is an ATC card and can be removed. Never made one before, but there is always a first time for everything!
Thanks for looking!

Sue, you did a great job on this. It is so sweet for Joyce. I love all the techniques you used, the gelli bg print and the ATC. I have always been a fan of that image, too. TFS

Such a perfect image and sentiment for Joyce. Your gelli plate bkg is gorgeous. Very pretty shades of green and I like thatt the ATC is removeable. The metal clip is such a nice addition.

Perfect image, great background. I so nearly got a gelli plate when I was at a show recently. I guess the idea of traipsing up and down the ladder trying to get clean, plus awareness of my lack of time, is what stopped me. But then I see this and wish I'd gone ahead and got it. Lovely GREEN card .

Beautiful card, Sue, in soothing green tones. I think it also shows those deep emotional bonds are never broken since one has beautiful memories to recall.
