It's amazing how much time staying home from work for one day buys me. DH just alerted me that a package of work just arrived at the door though. :( I wanted to try this yesterday and got my thoughts together, but didn't get it made until today.
I used a red piece of awesome cardstock that reminds me of handmade paper and have no clue where I got it. It's red on the front. Next I used an off white panel with black dots hoping the dots would show through the faux silk. Yay!
The coffee filter is washed and dried, then stamped with Kaleidacolor rainbow ink. I crumbled it up tight, then straightened it somewhat and flattened it onto the red panel so the wrinkles would show.
I like the used filters better because of the color. I'm not too much of a "plain white" person and the off white of the used filter suits me fine. I am pleased with how it turned out. How about you?
