This week, the tea party is headed to Joyce. She is a huge fan of Downton Abbey and is in real need of cheer.
Polly (Peeps321) sent me this stamped image a while ago (thank you Pol!) and while it is not an Abbey, it does lend itself to the time period, I think. I colored the manor image with copic markers and used sponging for the clouds. Then, I cut the image to the same size as an ATC and added the other images to the kraft background. I used a Tim Holtz marker to lighten the faces of the girls. Not sure if I like how that turned out or not. The sentiment is stamped in different colors for Joan's TLC challenge.
Thanks for taking a peek and if you have time, please think about making a card for Joyce!

This is great..I lke the way you made that mansion your "abbey" and surrounded it with the images of sisters/friends. Your fashionable lady in the upper right fits the Downton style perfectly..Joyce will appreicate this lovely card.

Your beautifully colored image surrounded by family is such a perfect card for her, Kathleen! You have so much heart into this! Love the way you created that beautiful sky and what fun images you chose to surround the mansion!

This is a wonderful card to celebrate a sister, Kathleen, love the gorgeous manor house stamp and the dear little girl stamps - my sister and I shared a room when we were growing up and I can relate to the story, she was the messy one LOL!!

Kathleen this is so lovely. The beautiful manor house reminds me of Downtown Abbey. I love all the sweet images, this is sure to touch Joyce's heart. It warms my heart to see you at the Teaparty my friend.
Please don't take your organs to heaven - heaven knows we need them here.

Beautiful card and images, Kathleen. The top left one reminds me of a photo (the only one I ever had, and my dad borrowed it to copy and lost it ) of my French grandmother, whom I never met. The other ones remind me so much of the Kate Greenaway books we used to read at my Irish grandmother's.
