This is for a fellow SCS Stamper who recently lost her sister, her best friend. She is a big fan of Downton Abbey and also ATCs. I made this card featuring 2 ATCs on the front and depicting a Downton Tea. I wrote a special poem for the inside hoping to bring some cheer to Joyce. Here's the inside of my card:
Mr. Carson is here
To bring some cheer
A Downton tea
Lady Mary, Edith, and Cora agree
Will offer warm wishes
Served in elegant dishes.
So enjoy a cuppa and some cakes
And a warm scone Mrs. Patmore makes.
All the best to youÂ…Â….
From a fellow SCS Stamper
A Downton fan, too.

Polly, this is FABULOUS on many levels.....not only your "Downton" inspired collage of images, but the clever and wonderful poem you composed to go with it. Sure to be a MOST special among other cards.

Oh Pol! This is perfect as any Downton fan can attest! What a fabulous card and the poem is wonderful!!! You got so many of the characters in there, good job! I have a feeling this one is going to be extra special for Joyce!!!

I'm not familiar with Downton Abbey, as I don't have a T.V., but this looks like it is pretty 'upper crust'. I'm sure Joyce will love it. It's a great mixture of high society vignettes.

Oh Polly, this couldn't be more perfect! So funny, too, because I have been cleaning today, and one of the things that hit the trash was a menu someone had sent me of a Downton tea from her local tea-room. Your butler looks like a real character!!

I thought this challenge was just perfect for you, Polly, with the theme and the chance to make an ATC - love your little ATC's on the card preparing for tea - this is just a fabulous period card and your poem is brilliant!!
