I pushed the boundaries of CAS with this card, but belief it met the HLS CAS rules of one focal point (copper leaf), minimal embellishements, and lots of white (or open) space.
I used the acrylic block watercolouring technique for making my background (see link to tutorial on the challenge blog, along with links to lots of other wonderful watercolouring videos).
Once my background was dry, I sponged over top of a leaf stencil and then lightly stamped a french script on top of that. The copper was coloured with alcohol inks and then die-cut with a die from Sizzix. A simple banner finishes the card.

OMG Loll, your watercolored background, colored copper leaves and banner sentiment is an awesome creative beginning to your new CAS venture. Congratulations my friend. I'm sure your challenge will be very popular. CAS and focus on Techniques is the perfect combination. I can't wait to play.
