I love making books that involve natural elements. These sugar maple leaves fell from my tree in the backyard, and they were so beautiful I decided to try to heat emboss them to preserve them. I love the movement and the curl and thought they would make a nice embellishment to my autumn colored Gelli print book cover. I also love twine, and miniature anything!

This is fantastic using real leaves! I'd love to know if the embossing preserves them! I'm in Ohio and October here has some beautiful colored ones that fall! Love those gorgeous colors and also love twine, burlap and all things natural. Hope you keep posting and welcome to Splitcoast stampers!
