Look, not even I'M sure why I uploaded this....other than to try and convince you that I HAVE been working...harder than I've ever worked before, for that matter.
Unfortunately, not one *&^&* thing is coming together for me. You know what I mean! Those days when you are starting to feel a little pressure to finish something and the best you can manage is to refrain from glossy accent-ing your fingers together or putting your forearm in the &*%& watercolor that's pooled on your craft mat that you forgot about? Or, you attempt to do something-a card or papercraft project-you've done a thousand times before, and it ends up looking like it was put together by a third grader on methamphetamines????
YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! DON'T DENY IT!!!!!
So, to distract myself, I made this little 'glamper' (thanks to Shirley-wannabecreative-for putting that word in my vernacular) with the pink striped awning. I found the free template here http://www.pinterest.com/pin/166070304985357818/ (I had to give you my pinterest link...I pinned it from someone else and there's no lead to a site but will download as a pdf) and only one main piece, so it would've been hard to mess up.
Although, I DID manage to do just that!
If you could see it angled from the OTHER side, you'd see a gap in the corner...enough to make my OCD get all huffy and stalk out of the room when I refused to change it.
It'll get over this...trust me.
But back to my sudden attack of sheer incompetence and downright lack of ideas.
I think Christmas took pretty much everything I had stored up. My oldest son flew in from Philly and we had an awesome time terrorizing his younger brothers and toasting family and friends...a lot...(heck, I think we were making up friends and family to raise a glass to at one point, but-admittedly, I'm a little hazy about that night) it still was hard on me physically.
Perhaps that's why I'm sitting here with half open eyes, trying to explain why I uploaded a 3 inch putz glamper in pink, with a definite lack of 'snow' adorning it. Which was an honest mistake. But is there anyone out there who has run through 2 large containers of white flower soft in less than a month????
I didn't think so. Sigh.
I swear I'll be back in the saddle soon. I just need a little motivation and just a smidgeon of that confidence and 'can-do' attitude I had just before Christmas. Just a little push should do it and I'll be crafting away like before.
In fact, I'm putting everything on hold while I search for that motivation, confidence and positive outlook.
Which SHOULD be in the cabinet, in the place I usually keep my Vodka.
Salud!!

How cute is this? Only you would tackle these 3-D projects! No doubt I would not have made it past the first side. Love the awning and snow too. Laughing about the fun story and going through two large containers of flower soft! Another fun project and I'm in the same slump mode here too!

I love this camper and I never have been inside such a vehicle! If you need real snow we certainly have plenty to share but I think the flower soft fits the bill much better as it doesn't melt and get dirty. I just bet you will be recovered from Christmas in time to celebrate New Year's. Have a happy one!

Oh my, sounds like someone is in the holiday doldrums - the letdown after all the fun has faded away!! Well, Girl, The pink GLAMPER should get you out of that soon enough, with all the pink, the snow, and the cuteness of it, so just put on your big girl panties and keep a stiff upper lip, and you will be back to "normal" in no time!! Ya can't keep a good woman down for long!!!

Being a GIANT glamper fan (thanks to Shirley as well), I am in love with this! I see those little imperfections but this is so amazing that they just make it cuter to me. Love the snow too - that was a great touch! This is one of my favorite things you have ever made - it has a happy feel. Makes me smile. Hugz
