Today's Free for All is to CASE a card by someone we admire on SCS. There are so many but I can't CASE them all. One person I really admire is Heather Telford (aka Heather T). She is incredibly generous in taking the time to describe how she creates her gorgeous cards and I have a whole list of her techniques that I am slowly working my way through.
I chose one of her techniques that I haven't tried before and CASEed this card of hers:
I love the effect Heather creates of snow on branches so followed her instructions of stamping once in pigment black ink and then inking up with Versamark and slightly offsetting the stamp. Then embossing with clear ep. After I did the branched, I then sponged with two shades of blue Distress ink - the embossing on the branches acts as a resist.
I die cut a black frame and an opening in my top cardstock layer and popped it up on dimensionals over the image.
Thanks, Heather - I've learned a lot from you!

This is so beautiful -- I love the color combo too!

Congratulations on doing this Susan! I tried it a couple of times but it took me 12 tries to get it! You did a phenomenal job of this difficult technique!
