My last 6 cards made in a rush this year were Hanukkah cards for my friends in 100% Jewish households (I have many friends in mixed households who get generic holiday greetings). I needed something quick and simple, so naturally I broke out my embossing powder. And I discovered that my gold embossing powder is not that good. The powder is in large flakes, which makes it difficult to get even coverage. I finally settled on heating from behind, but I will be investing in brighter and better gold powder in the future.
It's impossible to see in this photo, but I edged both white panels with a gold Wink of Stella pen.
