Today's TLC was to go back to any TLC from 2014, so I went to the first one on the list, the TLC464 to use stitching on your card. This is also for the MIX98 calling for spreying and sparkle. First I spreyed white cardstock with dylusions sprey inks and sponged over that with similar color distress inks. This always gives a more saturated color. Then I took some different heart stamps and stamped the hearts all over. I used various colored gel pens to color in some of the hearts and doodled designs with a black gel pen. It is hard to see, but some of the hearts are outlined with gold gel pen. I then spread glitter glue over everything. This panel was sewn onto the bkg panel using my very old sewing machine...too bad there isn't a TLC calling for the mountains of dust I had to clean off my machine when I excavated it from the depths of the coat closet. I added a little wood heart, pearls and mesh cloth. I made something like this last year, but when I looked for it in my gallery to refresh my memory on how I made it, it wasn't there. Awhile back I was "fixing" my gallery, and due to operator error, some things were swallowed by a black hole. Wishing everyone a wonderful week. TFL, Francie

As usual your card is filled with charm and magic...So cool that you have a machine to sew on your cards (dust and all :-) Your colors are a delight to the eye and the doodling that you do adds that extra specialness that your cards always bring to the table! Well done!

Francie, I LOVE this! It has a warm, country charm and I always love the colors you choose! Those hearts look wonderful and you accent them so beautifully with your gel pens! A definite favorite!

I love the saturated colors you achieved on this (thanks for the tip of the sprays and then distress inks)....wow! And all the doodling and drawing adds to the beauty and charm of this card. Great sparkly Valentine full of love for someone (I wonder who??)
