To make this card, I stamped the birch trees from A Jillian Vance Design' "In the Meadow" with Memento Tuxedo Black dye. I colored slightly with Copic markers. I then created a mask for the trees and the snow covered ground with masking film. I sponged Marvy Grey dye ink for the sky. I dropped water onto the sky to create an interesting effect, as well as added dots of Copic White for the snowflakes. I then removed the mask, and drew the snow line with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.
I stamped the cardinal, also from A Jillian Vance Design, with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut. I placed the cardinal onto a birch branch.
I stamped the sentiment from A Jillian Vance Design with Versafine Onyx Black.
Inspired by VSNDEC14K, incorporate water in some way.

The pop of red against the greys is fab - just like a little visual treat on a grey day (we have so many of those here!). Your water-dropped sky looks cool, too.
