The main challenge that I made this card for was the MMTPT 332. The charming ladies of the teapot society are sending girly girl cards with lots of bling to a young mom with cancer. We were to think dresses, like Cinderella's ball gown. Well, while the real Fairy Godmother was whipping up a vision of loveliness for Cinderella to wear, the "Fairy Godmother in training" (FGIT) was working on a dress for Cinderella's friend, Matilda. The "FGIT" must have been out getting coffee when they taught the "bibity bobity boo" routine, because her dress turned out a little weird. However, don't feel bad for Matilda. The "FGIT" also forgot how to turn a pumpkin into a horse drawn coach, so she let Matilda borrow her bright red Ferrari...turns out that the prince has a handsome brother who adores cars. He noticed Matilda right away and they have been dating ever since. Back to the card. It's not only the Fairy Godmother in training that forgets things. I forget to stop myself when I decided that not one of my 579,822, 999 rubber stamps was right for this card. That little voice popped into my head and said, "I can just draw something". I fall for this bad idea every few weeks and am quickly reminded how much easier it is to just stamp something. I wrote the little sentiment "always keep a happy song in your heart", added a lot of glitter and bling, and I was done. I never thought i would be saying this, but it is raining and dark here in So. CALIF and i can't get a good photo of this card. TFL, Francie

Oh, Francie, she's fab!! Have to laugh at your choice of Waltzing Matilda for her name, because the skirt of her dress reminds me of Susie's card this week which is a feathery dress - maybe we have a pair of Australian gals heading to Nicole. Your drawing is amazing - I think you don't really need stamps!!

My word Lady, you've got style! Your character has such a lot of spirit and love of life going on here! Hard not to get up and dance with her. Love your colouring. What a great card to lift the mood of the recipient. Terrific!

Francie, no stamp on earth can compare to your drawings! It's original and SO fun! Love the colors and your coloring is incredible! Your descriptions are hilarious and thanks for the chuckles! Your sentiment is awesome! If I could write and draw like this, I wouldn't even own stamps!

OK, all I have to say is this: With your artistic skills at drawing, why would you ever need any more stamps? Are you kidding me! You need to be picked up by a stamp company! What an adorable outfit she is wearing, Francie! Beautiful bling and tag~

Francie, you story is unique and adorable. I love your little Waltzing Matilda. I like the touch of the added bling at the end of the curved music staff.
