I have several reverse image stamps that I've never gotten good results with, so I was excited to try a technique I read about here on Splitcoast. I don't remember who posted it (sorry!), but if anyone can tell me please leave a comment so I can give credit where it's due. I never thought of using this technique with reverse images.
Instead of inking the stamp normally, I added color with Distress ink pads and markers, misted liberally with water and stamped onto watercolor paper that had been lightly misted. I was thrilled with the result, although it took a few tries to get it right. After it dried, I added Wink of Stella to the tree branches for a hint of sparkle, cut the layers and adhered to the card base.
As always, thanks for looking!

I have to agree with Sue and I even have this stamp! It's been sitting there waiting for a brilliant idea! This is fantastic Jody and thanks for describing the technique! I LOVE your results too!
