Before I knew that today's challenge was inchies, I had been making a card with origami boxes. As I was making them I thought they kinda looked like little envelopes. I was thinking, at that time, how fun it would be to put a little envelope on my card. So when I saw that the challenge was to use inchies or twinchies on a card. I knew I was going to make little envelopes to hold them. I wanted them to be interactive an able to come out. If you would like to see how the individual inchies look and read how I made each one check out MY BLOG The base of my card started as a piece of white cardstock. I printed the postcard design from Daydream Designs digital set called SENDING YOU LOVE I added the sentiment and along the left side and bottom, I printed the word "LOVE" in several different languages. I used a tea bag to stain the paper brown. I love using tea bags because I never know what I'm going to get. When that had dried I sprayed it with gold shimmer paint. I tea stained and sprayed the three envelopes too. I sewed around the edges of my card with the gold thread to add some additional texture and interest. This card works for the F4A430 challenge to make a holiday card that isn't Christmas or Hanukkah. Mine is for Valentine's day in case you hadn't guessed.

WOW, this is so super fab. I could see you adding it also to the post card challenge & holiday twist challenge too. I love the tea stained effect and the gold stitching. And your inches are fab!!!
