The challenge is to use scraps of paper to make your background. I'm sure you're all getting sick of this designer paper and this is my last piece. It does make a nice winter sky.
I need to add here that Biggan has a card very similar to this in the CAS challenge today. You can see it here. I promise this card was under construction before I saw Birgit's beautiful card. You should stop over at the CAS challenge and give her some kind comments!
This is for my BFF's husband's birthday next week and it's too late for me to dream up another! I'd like to say GMTA, but that would dishonor Birgit! Will never measure up to her talents!
Oh this is stunning! I love the white birds in the white tree! Gorgeous card! You have me curious now about Birgit's card! Uploading a card and then noticing it was similar to another's card! Just means great artistic minds think alike, right?! Thanks for playing along with this week's CAS challenge!

Geez, Vicky, you're selling yourself short! This is beautiful! I actually almost went with a circle cut for the focal. What stopped me was that I received a die set of pierced rectangles Sat. and already the piece cut, sitting on my table. Laziness won over. If not for that there would have been 3 of the same layout and all have similar trees!
