This weekend I was honored to be the FS. I love to play in the FS challenge and didn't want to case one of my cards, so I cased a card in my favorites gallery. I picked the first one in my fav gallery that spoke to me. It was a card that Pat Smethers did in 2009 called Cherry Cheesecake:
My sewing machine is out of commission right now so I faux sewed the edges, did a few less layers, changed the image and papers, and used a bow out of the same ribbon Sandra used (she didn't do a bow but Pat did).
I can't seem to do fur so I made my fur marks out of black marker and white gel pen.
Fun casing you Pat! LYMI!

What a wonderful card! Your faux stitching fooled me! I thought they were real. The image is just adorable and I do love the way you did the fur on that dog. Love the paper layers!
I was thrilled to see you chosen for FS! You are so deserving of this! Your cards have so much diversity, always something different. You are an inspiration to all of us!
