This is a CASE of a card by Susie (Susie Australia) WT505 Winter Wonderland by susie australia at Splitcoaststampers. I think it is one of the most beautiful winter cards I've ever seen. Susie mentioned how difficult it would be for her card to survive mailing and since I'm sending mine to my sister (Janet, in another state), I made mine much less delicate. Although I love her beautiful trees, I replaced them with pine shrubs and snowflakes. I added Stickles and gems for added bling. Before my sister went into a nursing home a few years ago, she lived in a beautiful home, with 8 acres of woods on the side of a small mountain in Connecticut. Her property has a beautiful stream across the front and down one side and the deer stopped there often to drink. You have to cross a small private bridge to get onto their property. After catching my breath, upon opening Susie's card, I knew I had to CASE it for Janet.

Oh Priscilla, your card is gorgeous and such a special labor of love. I know that you try to send cards to your sister often...you must brighten her life so much. What a fantastic job CASing tbis card so you can mail it. Your creation is stunning and sounds so much like the beautiful home that your sister had. Luckily I have not loaded my favs, because this is a big fav this week.
