This is for this week's Mixability Challenge - Snowy Scenes. I sponged through the aspen tree stencil with smoky slate ink and used the liquid pearls for the snow - I saw this idea from someone here on SCS but cannot remember who to give them the credit - added the bows and sentiment. I used the Silver Dazzle marker for the edge of the white base card.

You must have the big 12x12 stencil, Sue? Your trees look so much bigger than mine. And they look just delightful decorated with the little red bows. I use Liquid Pearls for snow a lot, but I'm quite sure I'm not the only one. Sometimes I even stamp with them - so long as I wash the stamp quickly afterwards ;-).

Sparkle and shine in an unexpected way, Sue. LOVE your white birches tied with the bright Christmas red ribbons......so fun. The sparkle of the glitter and rhinestones makes for a magical scene. Your choice of a light gray bg was stellar.

Sue, this is SO gorgeous! I love what you did with that dazzle pen and the bows on the tree are quite impressive! Beautiful Christmas card; so peaceful and serene~

I like the size - I actually have an embossing folder someone gave me, and I think the trees on it are about this size - so even though you weren't expecting the large stencil, it certainly works perfectly and looks fab!
