Thought I'd have another go at our weekly color challenge (CC505) and our snowflake challenge (CAS299). The top panel is popped up, and embossed w/ snowflakes. One layer of snow is also popped up with the deer (silver foil cs), the scene in the back is made by embossing the trees in green, blending over that with distress, and then adding snow on the branches with the gel pen. Falling snow is made w/ pigment white, but I did add a bit of white gel so it would stand out more. Snowflake on the sentiment strip is also silver foil cs. Linking also to:

This is a beautiful scene! So peaceful with the snow gently falling. I love the whiter surround to your challenge colours. The embossed snowflakes are so pretty. This is a great Christmas card!

So many wonderful design elements are present in your lovely winter scene. Love the use of an embossed panel on top, and your choice of an ef that has the design on only one edge works so well here. And your placement of the sentiment panel is so perfect, it completes that magic visual triangle that arrows down the slope of the hills right to the deer. SO awesome! This one is going in my design file for a study piece. Thanks for the lesson, and for sharing this fun card!

Wow and wow, this is gorgeous. I love the layers of white, and the deer in the foreground, really makes the background scene pop. Great ef, and the silver snowflake on the sentiment banner is the perfect addition. This is a gorgeous card, great design. Love it. fave. tfs.
Love your layered snow hills in the background, and the snowflake you placed with your sentiment. Very pretty card! Thanks so much for joining the Fusion Challenge!
