I inherited a box of cards from my mother. I did go through them when she passed away 14 years ago, but recently I brought them out again. Most of them were family pics and also photos of my mom in later years, but I found one of her with two sisters when she was in her early 20's. I scanned the photos and printed them on white and vanilla cs. For this tag, I trimmed the photo to show only mom. I am planning to make tags for all my siblings and some of the nieces and nephews. I sponged the tag with distress ink, stamped a little windmill in the top left, to denote that mom grew up in the Netherlands. She loved flowers, butterflies, birds, and crocheted and knit a lot. I couldn't get all those things in one tag, but will be incorporating a lot more in the tags to come.

Oh my..what a wonderfully beautiful tribute to your Mum! All the elements you used are perfectly fitting to the description you gave and I am positive your siblings are going to flip when they see your wonderful work. I am sure every Mum knit and crocheted like a fiend..I know the Quaker did!! LOL
