This is my card for CC504. Peggy is our hostess and she chose calypso coral, crisp cantaloupe and crumb cake as our color trio for the week.
Dessert is to emboss resist. Oops-it took me so long to figure out what I wanted to do for my card that I totally forgot dessert. I just finished my card at 10:25 tonight.
My card is using stamps from Paper Trey Ink - the cutting garden. I stamped in coral and cantaloupe and then die cut. Sentiment is from the same set and I stamped in choc chip ink.
The dsp I used is the SU "sweet sorbet" collection. Layered it on cantaloupe and then crumb cake. Lots of layers on my card this week.
I used the Spellbinders "floral fantasy" and "oval" dies to make a frame for my flowers. My elegant corners are a die from Cherry Lynn Designs.
Finished off my card with some SU crumb cake ribbon and a fabric calypso coral brad.
My card layout is one that I had seen on Becca's blog. I didn't have any of the dies she used but, I still like how my card turned out.
Hope you can play along with us this week. You may be our next CC fave of the week and have your card featured on our highly viewed and followed Pinterest Board. See board here.

Lovely card with your lacy framing and ornate corner pieces. The trio of ranunculus makes a lovely presentation, Mary, and are perfect with these colors.
