Our challenge was to make a card with something missing such as a die cut negative space. I used the dies to cut the black cardstock then mounted colored cardstock from the underside. In real life, you can see a little dimension as the underneath papers are lower. TFL!

What a cute little ghost that is! I'm terrible at even thinking of using negative space, because I always cut so frugally and close to the edges that I never have anything worth using - so as a technique it doesn't often cross my mind.
