For Bridget's Ordinary Hero challenge. Oh dear, this was a hard one for me. Not the card itself, which is pretty plain, but the choosing! My original thought was to make a card for single parents because wow. We just went through a month when my husband was working crazy hours and hardly saw the kids and it was rough and it really put single parents on my heart. Then I kept thinking well how would I even do that, so maybe my mom, my grandma, my husband, etc. Then I was digging through my Project Life cards for something else and came across this one. And I went right back to single parents. Because how else are they doing it except day by day, hour by hour. Now, I have no idea if anyone will even want this card? Maybe some musical theater person will use it? (Because if you're not humming Godspell right now I'm not sure we can be friends in real life because I will drive you bonkers.) Anyway, this was an awesome challenge! Thanks Bridget!

I would never make it as a single parent and today is a fine example of why. Rough. :/ It is nice to make a card with the idea of them in mind. I don't know how they do it, but I admire them for making it. Men in white coats would be picking me up on day 2. lol

This really popped out of the gallery for me because I adore CAS cards with loads of white space and beautiful texture - then I saw it was for my challenge. I love the thought you put into this, Paula, and you're right, single parents do deserve a tribute. And the song is definitely ringing in my ears right now - I think this sentiment will be very meaningful for those who feel they can't think too far ahead, just taking each day as it comes. Fab hero card, Paula, thanks for sharing in this challenge!
