I was a bit skeptical when I started out because I didn't really have a plan or solid idea for Debbi's tissue challenge...this sort of morphed as I went along. A few weeks ago, Lydia (Understandblue) introduced a cool technique on the mix-ability thread that I've been wanting to try. I started this out by using gel medium to adhere crumpled up pink tissue paper (from a recent MFT order :-)) to a white panel. I rubbed gelatos in shades of pink and red with my fingers over the tissue papered panel. Then I paced a cut out magazine image as a mask and painted over the entire piece with black gesso. I used bubble wrap dabbed in white ink to soften the black BG a bit but didn't like the dots so I smeared and blended it into the black. Added the sentiment and arrow stamps over the image to complete.
