Barbara (bejoyce) is our lovely hostess for this challenge. She asked us to Embossing Paste and spread it around on our card. Now, I just learned about embossing paste back in September, and had never used it. Didn't have any. Didn't have but one of the ingredients to make my own. Almost passed on the challenge, but the stubborn streak in me would not allow me to do all but one challenge. So, I used my melon mambo reinker and mixed up some of DH's spackle (you should've seen the look on his face when I asked him for some!) Took me a few (messy) tries, but here's my result. Not too bad for a rookie. And I think someone at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas may find this cheerful. That's what these challenges are all about!

I applaud you for taking the very last challenge and persevering. Well worth it, too, because you've created a very pretty card with a sweet message of love. The embossing paste/spackled pink hearts are wonderful, as are the sentiment, the bow and the punched border. Yay you, for completing all the challenges! Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Very pretty card! I love your spackled hearts, the border punch and the script of the sentiment! What a great idea using spackle! I think we might have some around, DH would probably give me the whole bucket when I would only want a dab since we haven't used it in years!
