This week's ODBD challenge is to make a Christmas or Thanksgiving card - I chose Christmas. I used Luke 2:11 as my focal image (the real meaning of Christmas), and then I made several poinsettias to surround the verse on top of some pretty DP that I sponged, matted, and pierced. I really enjoyed making the dimensional flowers and did absolutely no coloring on this card - wow! Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!

The colours you have chosen for this card are really beautiful from the colours of the poinsettias to the matching design paper. What a special Christmas card - signed - fading Panda Eyes!

Cheryl, this is gorgeous! Your piercing is perfect and your sentiment is always stamped so clean! The overall design is fabulous and love those rich, red poinsettias! I also love how you did your pine boughs and use a bit of brown! Right into favorites!

Gorgeous poinsettia's and foliage! Love the richness of this card, both in colors and in design. Your signature paper piecing as part of the framing of this beauty ROCKS! This is a Christmas card any one would be DELIGHTED to receive... Well done!
