My good friend was here visiting for 10 days of crafting fun. The background was done by using distress paints on a craft mat, spritzing with water and dragging the paper through it. Pearl Ex was added to a spritzer of water and sprayed for a subtle, gold shimmer. The corner was stamped and embossed. The nail heads were added to the dots in the flourish. The tree was cut from a gelli print from my infinite stash of backgrounds. The card was matted with mylar. Mylar should not be cut in your cutter as it can dull your blades quickly. Thanks again for stopping by.

ANOTHER GORGEOUS card. I love the matting in the gold and your tree ROCKS! (as does your background). I especially like your corner embellishment with the added nail heads. SUCH a beautiful Christmas card! LOVE....

Gorgeous, Nancy!! I love it - especially the detail of adding the nail heads to the corner stamping. The Mylar looks fantastic, even if it does dull your blades!

Wowzers, so glad you got to craft with another buddy - for TEN DAYS! - lucky you!! Your stash of gelli print BG's never ceases to amaze me - I love doing them ever since I was there. Love the corner embossed swirls with the nail heads, and the mylar gives your card such a rich look. Guessing that you cut that with your blade and self healing mat, right?

Gorgeous Nancy. That tree rocks! I just got back from a stamping retreat with vdm(vicki) and several more friends and we had a blast. So much fun to stamp with people you love.

Nancy, you never stop amazing me. This is beautiful beyond words. The gold flourish and the mylar bkg are stunning. The gelli paper was perfect for cutting out the tree. Your greenish color reminds me of metal sculpture. Just gorgeous. Pinned and faved.
