I have long loved this Elegant Roses image by Penny Black. The delicate "crackle" stamped over the top in caramel ink is by Sonlight Impressions. It reminds me of the delicate crazing that occurs on vintage porcelain pieces I have in my collection. The elegant gold framed pearl brad is by K & Co.
Although I was tempted to sponge the edges of the focal with more caramel ink, to "age" it, I'm glad I didn't--I think it helps keep this design soft, romantic, and yet retain an element of refinement and elegance to it.

Julie it's lovely! And I love the way you wrapped the ribbon around and embellished with the brad. You are a SUPERSTAH! And you should write for a catalog or something, you're descriptions are fantastic!

Very elegant and refined indeed! This design is a JulieHRR classic, and I love how you used the vellum stamped with the white dots. Those pearl brads are so pretty. And I just received that crackle background yesterday, along with eight other unmounted cling option BG stamps! :) TFS. Linda
