I tried several different things to get this card right and was getting frustrated. So I went to Dina's gallery to inspire me
I'm sure she will see the inspiration. ;)
I know you can't see the shimmer, but after the distress inks were spread all over my craft sheet, spritzed with water, "plooched" around, and dried, I misted with spritz. So is the little banner.
Rhinestones are custom-colored with sharpies.
Oh, and Pooh and Piglet are grinning ear to ear that I used them for Lydia's challenge. They otherwise have sat on a shelf (collecting dust) for more than 50 years! I always loved the Pooh stories...when I was little AND when I was older...like in high school They always had a little lesson to learn even when it was a little hidden. Pooh is so easy-going!

What a stunning bg for this darling little scene - all framed up in a sweet oval with just subtle touches of bling - you got it all just RIGHT, Diane! And I LOVE your photograph, I'm just sitting here smiling. Thank you for that.
Pooh and Piglet, what a combo. Such a sweet card and wonderful character choices. Your distress watercolor looks so much like polished stone and the rhinestones are a great touch.
