HYCCT1430 = Jennifer's theme is "Hope Soars". I chose a white dove which can be a symbol of hope.
WT503 = Linda's challenge was to have our own personal "favorites" on our card. Mine are watercolors, cards that "say" something or evoke a feeling(not just a pretty picture) and CAS(I'm still on the learning curve for that style).
I used the inks on a craft mat, misted with water and the paper placed down on it. Before I did that though, I used masking fluid to keep the sharp outline of the rising dove and drug some of it down to suggest movement. After I had smooshed, I came back in with some watercolors to define the design a bit.

I had no idea you can do something this lovely with masking fluid and watercolors on a craft mat. Incredible! I do feel like I'm soaring with that dove...

Sallie, you are a watercoloring genius ! Love the way you showed 'movement' in the dove's flight! Your watercolored cards always make my jaw drop on the floor - just stunning!
Hugs!

There are a whole lot of people before me on this thread and I am thinking what they are thinking. A gazillion WOWs! It is just ink and paper but a mind and imagination made it something special. Very special!
