I'm really getting into the Christmas card mode now and had such fun coloring this beautiful Holly Wreath image. Last year I had to fussy cut this image, but there is a brand new die for it that made it much easier. (But I still do love to fussy cut, hehe!!) I used an embossed and matted shape behind my wreath, and then I added a piece of Cherry Cobbler that was die cut and embossed. This older Stampin' Up DP worked perfectly, so I matted it and paper-pierced it (my DH chuckles each time, since he knows I love to pierce). The sentiment is actually from the Noel Ornament image that I inked only the word, "joy." I really like the flourishes on it, and I fussy cut a mat after punching it out. Added some pearls, popped it up, and it's done. Hope you like it, and thanks so much for taking a closer look!

Oh such a wonderful Christmas card. Beautiful colours which all go so well together. I do like that dainty dots embossing folder you have used too. Your embellishments really do add elegance to this card.

Cheryl, your holly wreath is GORGEOUS, and I am sure it is much easier with the die to cut it out this year!!! I love the SU paper you still had in the BG - one of my favorites as well. The SB die you used for the wreath's layer really showcases it so well. Your cards are a joy to behold!!

Cheryl, your card pops with color and your gorgeous coloring. It's so festive especially backed in the DP you chose and the perfectly cut mat and matting for it! I love how positioned the word joy on the die cut right over the mat. This is so beautifully composed!

Cheryl, your cards are always designed and colored so well, but I am always in awe of your fabulous telent for execution. There is always something a little off center or a border that is wider in one place on my cards. Your gorgeous creations are always perfect. You are the precision queen. Pinned and faved...as are most of your cards that I see.
