This is my card for the HYCCT1412 challenge "Warm Fuzzies" - to to use warm colors (color wheel below) and something fuzzy, ie: blanket, sweater, animal images, twine, yarn, etc.
The image was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black and watercolored with Distress Markers. I used Spectrum Noir markers to add shadows and shading, and to brighten up the reds. A then used a very fine tipped Micron pen and very sharp colored pencils to add strokes to the fur. I added a faint gray outline around the image and die cut it, when it was completely dry, I turned it over and used a large ball stylus to puff out the the kitten and her cap. This added a lot of dimension and looks awesome - I wish it showed up better in the picture. I added Wink of Stella to the cap and tiny bow, and attached it to the red layer.
The card base was stamped with a snowflake bg stamp using VersaFine ink and heat embossed with clear ep. I attached the layered image with foam tape and added a few sequins.
As always, thanks for looking!

Oh so very sweet. We LOVE our fur babies! Did I ever tell you we share a middle name?:-) I love the large ball stylus for using like you did..You did some wonderful detail work on this! LOVE how you framed and matted this! I love clear embossing on black and have had a card in a folder that I have been meaning to recreate for some time! Your card reminded me.. I can only image how this looks IRL and who ever receives it will be WOWED and amazed at how wonderfully crafted this is!
