This card is for the Hope You Can Cling to challenge – Hope Floats (ship) and for the Ways to Use It challenge – symbols of hope (anchor). This stamp set worked well for both challenges. I used the spotlight technique to draw attention to the ship floating in the sea. Then I colored the anchor with a silver metallic marker to draw attention to it. It doesn’t show in my photo, but IRL the anchor has a shine which changes as you move the card. In the making of my card, I tried to develop a triangle of visual elements, between the ship, the anchor and the sentiment. TFL

I love lighthouses and I've always wanted to try the spotlight technique. I may have to get out a lighthouse stamp tonight!
Congrats on the Whimsey Stamps win!
