This is late but for the t-party, and Hope not to late as it is for a family sympathy card. come and join us.
My mom just shared a couple angel wings and I thought it would be a nice way to use them, as being in a hard time thinking of being held under his wings to me would be so helpful. Always liked that verse too..:0) This is also for the ODBD challenge as the verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1: To everything there is a season and a purpose for every time under heaven. reminds me of the one about a time to be born and a time to die which at any time is hard to understand the why's, but soothing to know.
I decided to try and make it like a sign, as got this new fun ribbon that looks like rope of chain if you pull on it a bit, and the one die-cut looks a bit like a hanging thingy.
I started with the base and sponged in the clouds with or over paper towel, punched out and sponged the sentiment to match, added some soft pearls, a couple flowers and finished it off with the punched corners. did them last after card was all done, after thought adn the last top corner got a touch crooked so had to figure out how to cover it or start again. As running out of time I am hoping the corner cover is O.K...not as nice as all matching. I hope this will help the poor family. Not many words inside mostly just praying for you. Thanks for the visit...:0)

Wanda you card turned out just perfect. Your clouds are the perfect background for your sentiment and I actually love the one corner being different. It is a nice surprise and an interesting touch. Very nice card.

Oh, Wanda, this is beautiful!! I absolutely love the soft and comforting shades of blue and the wonderful verse from Psalms! I love your clouds and the great idea about the sign hanging from the wings. This will surely bring great comfort to this family with your simple words about praying for them. As we often know, few words are better, and prayer is powerful! So glad you were able to join us also for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge too! Hugs, sweet friend!
