Wow Sallie, this is beautiful!! I know how hard it is to get a cardinal to show dimension because the red wants to photograph all as one stinkin value but yours really has good shades and highlights and really has shape!! It is wonderfully magnificent!! Love your splatters and the distressed woodgrain bg as well!! Makes for an overall appealing, delightful card!

Cardinals-one of my favorite birds! He looks so puffy & proud, and the weather doesn't seem to affect him because he knows who he is! You have portrayed the spray/splatters so soft & beautifully with a gentle touch, Sallie, and that isn't always easy to accomplish!

I see you had a "date" with Mr. Huey today ...lol (I actually just picked up another one of his sprays today at Joanns)..I always like cardinals on Christmas cards and this one is quite lovely..great woodsy sort of bg and the noel diecut is great (you've gotten some really cool die cuts recently, yes?)
